i don't really get it, i shot the save button. now what am i supposed to do after when I am done and closed the game and shut down my laptop. I want to play it when I open up my laptop again

Then it never got saved to your computer. If you opened and never installed it then it doesn't save unless it's an installer file that you downloaded.
