I'm starting to learn Java right now on my own. I got a program called eclipse and so far it's a wonderful platform to use.

Shane programmed that application in Visual Basic, not sure which version though. I'm guessing since it requires .Net framework, it has to be the latest Visual Basic Studio Express 2008 (or 2007 is there is one)
Its a very simple programming language to learn. I made an app like his rbrowse a long time ago. Right now I am working on DirectX implementation into my applications, which is a collection of applications basically, which are used for things such as multimedia programs and even game programs on a Microsoft Windows computer system. Roblox has a setting to use directx to run its graphics in-game, BUT I believe that it is experimental does not work correctly yet.
Oh, and by the way. JavaScript is a browser based programming language, so you do not use it to program computer applications. Basically, Javascript is used to run different functions and such in websites.

Lol, I have a version of Visual Studio .NET its for 2003, isn't Visual Basic similar to the programming language on the Texas Instrument Calculators?

I made a program in VB, It sucked, Mainly because I made it turn you mouse into a gun and shoot every word you typed.
It took me 3 days to get rid of it.
